While you will not get the full Xbox gaming experience on anything but a dedicated Xbox gaming console, starting in July (next month), a collaboration between Xbox and Amazon will see Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) released on select Amazon Fire TV devices. Specifically, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members in over 25 countries will be able to play games directly from the Xbox app on select Amazon Fire TV devices through cloud gaming, bringing more ways to play Xbox on more devices and enjoy your favorite games.
So… what are these ‘select devices’? The Xbox app will initially be available on the Fire TV 4K Max (2023) and Fire TV Stick 4K (2023), with pricing starting at $79. With the combination of a compatible Fire TV Stick, an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership, and a compatible Bluetooth-enabled wireless controller, players will have a portable and affordable option to play the games available on Xbox Cloud Gaming.
